Drug Bust Nets $3,000 In Cocaine

Police in Bristol, Va., said Thursday they found $3,000 worth of cocaine during a drug bust.

Officers raided 311 Magnolia Drive Wednesday, Feb. 25, on a tip that drugs were being sold there, a news release states.

Arrested at the house were Bristol, Va., residents Michael A. Rutherford II, 28, of Johnson Court, and Willie Charles “Pee Wee” Howard, 32, who resides at the searched home.

Rutherford is charged with possession of cocaine with intent to distribute and possession of an imitation controlled substance. Howard is charged with possession of cocaine with intent to distribute.

Both men are being held without bond, and have an April 23 preliminary hearing date.
