Two Arrested In Bristol Drug Bust

A Bristol Tennessee couple faces multiple drug charges after authorities seized prescription drugs, marijuana, and crack cocaine from their home.

According to a release from the Sullivan County Sheriff's Office, authorities found Oxcontin, Percocet, Xanex, marijuana, digital scales, a burner and a small amount of crack cocaine inside a home on the 2500 block of Broad Street. The release stated that Wayne E. Montgomery, 52, and Jean Andrews, 49, lived at the home and were arrested at the time of the raid.

The Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office Vice Unit, Bristol Tennessee Police Vice Unit and the 2nd Judicial Drug Task Forced worked together on the investigation and the search of the home on May 12.

According to the release, Montgomery and Andrews remain in the Sullivan County Correctional Facility under a $100,000 bond.

Both are charged with the following:

Possession of Schedule II for Resale (2 counts)

Possession of Schedule III for Resale

Simple Possession of Schedule II

Simple Possession of Schedule IV

Simple Possession of Schedule VI

Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Maintaining a Dwelling where Drugs are Sold, Stored, and Used
