JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Feb. 12, 2018) - Senior Tianna Tarter (Johnson City, Tenn.) was named the College Sports Madness Player of the Week for the SoCon, for her outstanding performance against UTC.
This is Tarter’s second College Sports Madness recognition, with the last being on Nov. 20.
The Bucs only had one game this past week against conference rival UTC. ETSU picked up their first regular season sweep since 1997-98 with a 61-55 win. The Johnson City native recorded her fourth double-double of the season after finishing with 27 points and 10 rebounds. She also had five assists and three steals.
Tarter and the rest of the Bucs will host Wofford this Thursday, Feb. 15 for Education Day. Tip-off is set for 11:00 a.m. inside Brooks Gym.
