MILLIGAN COLLEGE, Tenn. (Feb. 12, 2018) -

Milligan College senior Will Robinson more than doubled his career high with 34 points Monday night in a pivotal Appalachian Athletic Conference victory over the Montreat College Cavaliers. After a postponed 18:46 of play, the Buffs finished the job defeating the Cavs, 87-82.

The Buffs moved to 14-12 overall (12-7 AAC) while the Cavs fell to 18-8 (9-8 AAC). Milligan lost to Montreat earlier in the season in the final seven seconds after a tied game.

The Buffs led by as much as 14 points with five minutes remaining. However, after a handful of free throws and a couple of 3-pointers by the Cavs, Montreat was capable of coming within two and three points, the closest they had been since the first two minutes of the game on Saturday.

With 22 seconds remaining and a 2-point game, Daxton Bostian was sent to the line to extend the lead to three points. Nevertheless, Montreat's Terrell Sheffey went up for a 3-pointer but missed. Aaron Levarity was then fouled on the defensive rebound enabling him to secure the win with two free throws. (87-82).
