No injuries after house fire in Johnson City on Saturday

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (WJHL) - Sergeant Rice with the Jonesborough Fire Department tells News Channel 11 there were no injuries after a house fire in Johnson City Saturday morning.

The fire department got a call around 10:48 of a fire on McKinley Street.

The Embreeville Volunteer Fire Department and The Nolichuckey Volunteer Fire Department also responded.

The house fire is now contained.

Fire crews tells us the damage to the home is significant.

No one was inside the home at the time.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
