Battle of the Badges Blood Drive kicks off today


The 8th annual American Red Cross "Battle of the Badges" Blood Drive officially kicked off today with a blood drive at the Jonesborough Visitor's Center from 1:30-6 pm this afternoon. The campaign runs from September 2-12 and allows each blood donor to cast a vote for their favorite first responder organization. All local police, fire and EMS organizations are participating and the one that gets the most votes wins an award.  More>>

Leaders use BMS, Red Carpet Tour to try and attract new businesses to Sullivan County


Representatives from some of the top commercial and real estate companies in the nation received red carpet treatment during last month's race at Bristol Motor Speedway, complete with suite access and a tour of pit row.
